Socialtext wiki on shared hosting?

Socialtext Open is the open source version of Socialtext’s hosted enterprise-strength Wiki software, its Wikiwyg editor, and associated projects. Socialtext Open can NOT be installed on shared hosting accounts like DreamHost and HostGator since they don’t provide you with root access. However if you have dedicated web hosting or want to install it on your intranet server running Linux, download it from here and try it out.
