Instant File Name Search (IFNS) is a fast and easy to use search tool for Windows. You can instantly search files by name or wildcards on your computer or LAN.

During first run, IFNS automatically processes the files (took about 2 seconds to process 238845 files) and creates the index.

After that, searching is straight forward and the results appear almost instantly.

image The program is set to start automatically with windows and gets minimized to system tray. A hot key can be set to bring up IFNS window.
